  Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Dresden, Tenn. Burial Date: 25 Oct 1944 Hal died of multiple skull fractures after being kicked in the head by a mule. He died at Methodist Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee October 25, 1944 about 5 hours after being admitted to the Hospital. Hal was never married and was living in Dresden, Tennessee at the time of his injury and death.
